I show you the steps I use to find the model year of Trek bikes. It takes a little bit of research on your part, but I show you where to go, and what to look for. I have used this method a bunch of times. I have had the best success with looking up the serial number on USA made Trek bikes. On foreign made Trek bikes, I have either found no serial number, or the serial number was in a weird pattern that did not match the list. But I was still able to figure out the model year by doing the rest of the research that I outline.
