I bought a Fuji Nevada 4.0 mountain bike that had some messy cabling. The frame was built to be ready for hydraulic brakes, but the bike came with V-brakes. Someone had replaced some of the cables in a sloppy manner. I show what the oversize cable guides on the top tube are for and how hydraulic lines would be installed with pass through inserts. I also show the adapters that allow the guides to be used as cable stops when installing mechanical brakes.
