I overhaul a Sturmey Archer Dynohub on the front wheel of my 1954 Indian Scout bike. I am guessing it’s a GH8 or GH6. Disassemble, clean, lube, new bearings, re-assemble. The number 753 appears on the hub which I assume is a date code of 7/1953. A Sturmey Archer Dynohub is a wheel hub that has a generator built into it, that generates AC electricity to power a headlight/tail light.
