FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
These are questions I get asked over, and over, and over… I mean really a lot!

Q. What do I do with the bikes when I am done with them?
A. I keep the coolest ones if they fit me. I sell the others. Or I might change them to something else if I can get a video out of it, and then sell them.

Q. How many bikes do I have?
A. Lots. About a dozen or more in my personal collection. But I have a bunch of bikes stocked up that are waiting for a project, or otherwise to be worked on.

Q. Can I buy one of your bikes?
A. I only sell locally, usually on craigslist. I don’t want to deal with shipping.

Q. Where do I get my parts from?
A. ebay, Amazon, local bike shop, Craigslist, flea markets, garage sales, etc.

Q. Do you sell or give away parts?
A. No. I keep them for use in future projects.

Q. Where do I get my tools from?
A. ebay, Amazon, local bike shop, Craigslist, flea markets, garage sales, etc.

Q. Where do I get my bikes from?
A. Thrift stores, Craigslist, eBay, garage sales, flea markets, etc.

Q. How much is my bike worth?
A. You gotta do your own research. Values vary by location, condition of the bike, etc. Search eBay (including the sold listings) to see what similar bikes are selling for. Check craigslist. Use google. Ask in bike forums. You have access to the same information I do.

Q. Can I have a free bike?
A. I don’t give away free bikes. If you have a local bike co-op, maybe they give bikes away.

Q. Why do you breathe so loud?
A. It really isn’t that loud. It’s just that the camera is often close to my face so it makes it sound louder. Also the camera compresses the sound which makes the quieter sounds a little louder. I am actually in pretty good shape and run marathons/half marathons, or other races every year.
