I show how to figure out the right way to install caged/retainer bearings so they are in the correct orientation in headsets, bottom brackets, or hubs. It really depends on the cage as to which way is up and which way is down. It doesn’t matter if it is a headset, bottom bracket, or wheel hub. They all have cups and cones.
