This is how to replace a broken spoke on a bike wheel. This wheel came off a 1984 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe. I bought the bike used from a thrift store and the spoke was already broken. I true the wheel pretty well. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good considering the wheel is about 30 years old and who knows what was done to it. In the video I use a Park Tools Truing stand. But you can do a pretty good job with the wheel mounted on your bike and spinning it and using the brake pads as a reference point to how you need to adjust it.
